'23 and we're still running from what's coming. Here we are now, entertain us, got contagious. Fell asleep at the wheel and lost our zeal. Time to rise up, stir and shake up, loose the makeup. Where are we going? There's no knowing Who is driving, the train is stuck here on the tracks now. Why aren't we moving? How are we losing? Been here for thousands of years and still we're none the wiser We were prowling, just surviving, never thriving. Then we stood up, saw much more and started scheming. Finally looked up, saw the stars and started dreaming. Made some tools and discovered fire, and ways to get higher Keep our heads down, never look around. If we keep our heads down we'll never find common ground. Keep our head down, never make a sound. If we keep our heads down we'll never find common ground or look each other in the eye. Why? Tech is booming, AI looming, we're all zooming. In our chambers, echoes clamber ever louder. Big brother watching, big heads gawking, gods are laughing. Let's pull the plug and just remember we're all human. Where are we going? There's no knowing. Who is driving, the train is stuck here on the tracks now. Why aren't we moving? How are we losing? Been here for thousands of years and still we're none the wiser.

Will the clouds fall apart on this day? will the rain move along and clear the way ahead, because I've made my bed. Will the waves rise above the safety zone? Will the people living there leave their homes behind? It's just a matter of time. Will the birds stop flying south to flee the frost? Will the earth get warm enough? Will we pay the cost, so high? And with how many lives? Will we push for change enough to see blue sky? The clouds are dark but they fall apart, all we have to do is try to see the path with new eyes.

Reflection 04:35
Looking at my own reflection, I can barely see my eyes. Hard to confront my own perceptions. Step away from our emotions, into a more open view. Got to break down the illusions. We'll see clear-eyed one day, I pray it won't be too late. Looking at the world we live in, it's easy to get lost sometimes, caught up in the negative chatter. But there's so much good that's out there, it's a big beautiful world. Got to find it and explore it. I'm trying to see the light, I want to burn bright. I know it's good to do, I'll do it for you. Watching you grow up through my eyes, it's easy to forget the way things feel from a younger angle. When you fall asleep and dream I wonder what sticks with you more, is it the tears or the laughter? You'll see for yourself one day, I hope it's in a brighter way. I've got this love to give, I want to stay positive, I know it's good to do, I'll do it for you. We've got to laugh and smile. It's not always our style. We know it's good to do. I'll do it for you, you do it for me, a smile is free.

See him through the eye of a flame, wandering is his game, escape a certain fame. Ragged as a beggar blind, his movements a far cry, a cold steel in his eye. He's searching for a place to sup, someone to fill his cup. He likes it neat, bottoms up! He stares up at the dark night, with a cringe and smirk of delight, at the big orb shining bright. Anxious when the moon is full, to feel its maddening pull grasping at his skull. He wakes up in the early morn, his body bruised and torn, his memory forlorn. Some are trying to chase his tail, to find the key detail, put in the last nail. But he slips away again, a phantom in the wind, a skipping record never ends

Oh My Love 03:51
Oh my love take my hand and walk this road. Oh my love take my hand and share this load. Together we'll make our own way, even when the road is long and cold. Together we'll face each new day, and out of this love we'll build a home. Oh my love, I'll hold your hand and won't let go. Oh my love, We're each our own souls, entwined we grow. Together we'll plant the seeds and take care of them with two open hearts. Together we'll write our story, different chapters can't tear us apart.

Light 03:05
I can't find my way downtown, it's much too late. I have lost my will to go too far from home. Show me the way, light my way. I can't be, I won't be the one you think you see. I will always be the one and only me. Show me a way, light my way. Show me a way, light my way.

Don't borrow trouble she said, let tomorrow be. Lay down your worried head, leave the rest to me. I'll take you far away, inside your mind. Wind through this mental maze, leave the rest behind. When you've no place to go, nowhere to get away, call out to me and we will gather our strength and say It's okay. Don't borrow trouble she wrote, if the past was bereft. Hold onto your memories and at the path turn left. The days go creeping past, the road is long. Stay the course on your horse and know the future's not forgone. When you've fallen down and out, nothing's going right. Call out to me and we will gather our strength and fight. It's alright. Don't borrow trouble she sighed, it's not worth the time. Stay in this moment and I'll help your write this line. It's getting light out now, the long night is gone. Your cup is empty but the song is done. When you've no place to go, when you can't get away. Call out to me and we will gather our strength and say... When you can't see the road, when nothing's going right (go left) Call out to us and we, together we'll shine a light. It's alright

So Brand New 03:27
Look at you, so brand new, room to grow and time to do. Look at me, what do you see Someone lost, or someone free? You have a drive to be alive, I'm just trying to survive. You smile so big, it makes me think that I should try to do the same. I'm not sure what to say, to guide you on your way. Not one to give advice. But I know one thing I can do, show you I can still grow too. I watch you fall, or hit a wall. You get back up in no time at all. I'm feeling stuck, in a rut, but you look at me so I can't give up. There's no shame when you lose a game, live and learn, I'll do the same. When I'm lost for words, I watch the birds. Nature's lessons are there to learn. I'm not sure what to say, to guide you on your way. Not one to give advice But I know one thing I can do, show you I can still grow too.

The sky looms dark, the moon is lost. The present is covered in blood at the futures cost. The pot is full, it's a raging brew. Only one more drop to go to insight the stew. Then the stage is set... The match is lit, the story's writ before the boom. The flames are licking, clock is ticking towards doom. But it can be stopped. An old guard stands tall before a crumbling wall. March hard and knock them down, watch the empire fall. Digging through the passed, ancient wisdom lasts. It will come full circle, but it won't happen fast. Then the stage is set... the waves are rising, crew is hiding below deck. The storm is winning, all will go down with the wreck. But it can be stopped. It can be stopped, it can be stopped It must be stopped, it will be stopped!

I can't settle myself down, I've lost my head tonight. I can't find my way around, I'm wandering inside. Hold my hand and walk me through the maze I've got myself into. I am searching for a sign to find my peace of mind My peace of mind, it's a state of mine I can't settle these thoughts down, I've lost my mind again. Spinning words in circles sends me back where I began. Be my eyes and guide me through the maze I've got myself into. I am searching for a light to find my peace of mind. My peace of mind, it's a state of mine Breath in a warm glow - (we are not our thoughts) Breath out, feel the flow - (don't be the fish, be the pond) Breath in new life - (breathe out and let things pass) Breath out, shine a light - (be like water my friend) Calm has overcome the mind, the heart and beat are one. Breathing deep and holding you until we seen the sun. I hope that we will make it through whatever storms we sail into. With you always by my side I'll find my peace of mind. My peace of mind. (Breath out and let things pass. Be like water my friend)

When I look out at the yard there's lot to see. Animals are running around and birds are in the trees. Squirrels and rabbits eating grass, robins and grackles moving fast. When I look out at the yard there's a lot to see. When I go out for a walk there's beauty everywhere. Flowers in gardens and trees all around are fresh in the air. Tulips, lilacs, roses bloom, vibrant colors to lift the gloom. When I go out for a walk there's beauty everywhere. We can look down at the creek, watch the fish play hide and seek. Drop a leaf an watch it go, slowly down the stream it flows. Obstacles may slow it down, it don't mind it moves around. Slowly passed the sticks and stones, now the water is its home. When I go out into the world there's a lot to learn. So many flavors, sights, smells and sounds everywhere we turn. Different people breathe the same air, learn from each other, listen and share. When I go out into the world there's a lot to learn. We can turn left at this street, find a different place to eat. Step outside the things we know, it's the only way to grow. There's music coming from next door. It sounds cool, let's go explore. I don't have to know the song, if it makes me move I'll dance along. If I'm feeling good I'll take a chance, may I have this dance? When I look out at the yard there's a lot to see. The world can be scary but beautiful too, open your heart and see.
